Lemons race

I have taken a short break from this build to focus on an upcoming race I am doing in may.

A few guys at the garage and I have been building a race car for the 24 of LeMons race. Basically you find a car for under $500 and make it reach worthy.

Here is the car, as we got it.

It was raced dirt track by a 14 year old girl who is much more badass than I.

I stripped the car of its old numbers and sponsors, and painted it army green, and started up on the hand lettering and painting.

Wheel lacin

Just got in the new 18" rim. So off with the old.

Yes I cut this rim off with bolt cutters, i then cleaned up the hub, and started lacing it up.

I also put on new shocks, 15" up from the 12.5" The stance is much improved.

I thought I had a rim strip and tube at the garage, but i was mistaken, so it will have to be completed next week.

American tranny

I'm adding a kickstart to this sporty. why? because why the fuck not? also because i want to.

To do that though, you have to pull the trans, and replace the main shaft with one that can be actuated by the added kicker.
